It's been a long time since this blog had a proper update, so an introduction is overdue.
I'm James WJ Wilson. This was one of several specialist blogs I developed years ago. I'm revisiting it to see what can still be useful.
The archive is small and includes attributed extracts from contemporary reporting. Those sources and dates will stay visible; old reports should not be treated as current advice.
For any new coverage, I'd like to focus on the questions readers need answered before considering boiler cover or commissioning work. Policy wording and technical guidance will need current, reliable sources. I'll add material when there is something useful and properly checked to share.
Thanks for finding your way here, whether again or for the first time.
